THAI GANGSTER.

Thai gangster without a doubt are a clearly example of appropriation of external cultures or subcultures, in this case.  We can see how they took something they saw over internet and they liked so they started to practice or to follow that ideas, of course adding some aspects of his own culture. We should learn from them to see the good in people, in groups, in everything.

Everything and everyone has their right and wrongs and we should appreciate and approach the good to make us better persons.

I think you can adopt other cultures ideas, believes or practices if you like them but adding and quitting things on purpose to make it something you can claim as yours, something that identifies you and everyone saw it and remember you immediately.

RACISM.

Lately I’ve been watching and reading about racism in my english class and I must say that this is an important affair that should be dialogued and we have to find ways to stop it.

People nowadays talks about how “developed” society is, but a society to be developed needs to be EQUAL and right now we are so far from that. It´s ridiculous that we still letting behind people because the color of their skin. We have a lot of stereotypes against black people and it’s not fair with them, sometimes we don’t even give them opportunities to see if they are nice or if they are able to do jobs that are considered important, we just push them away.

This is a worldwide problem, also it’s happening in my local area but we tend to ignore it or think it’s alright when clearly it's not. It’s sad how Afrocolombians are abandoned when they provide a lot to the culture of our country. It’s sad how we ignore them and we forget that a while ago that subculture fought for us and for the country to be free.

We should stop racism in our local areas. Colombians should stop discriminating AfroColombians and start making them count.
